Month: December 2015
All donations placed in the Candleabra while the crib is in position will be forwarded to Sr. Mary O’Malley to support her in her work of caring for and providing a future for children in Kenya.
Contributions given by us over the last number of years have enable her to save many children from terrible situations.
Every Euro counts. Please give any help that you can.
Copies of St. Mary’s most recent letter are placed near the Crib.

In preparation for Christmas will take place after Mass next weekend.
As we begin the Year of Mercy this is an ideal opportunity for all in the community to celebrate the wonderful gift of forgiveness in our lives, God’s forgiveness for us, our forgiveness of ourselves and our willingness to acknowledge that we need the forgiveness of others.
As we prepare for Christmas let us be open to that very precious gift of forgiveness. During the coming week let us reflect on forgiveness and our need for it.
we remember Mary and Joseph,
giving thanks for their faithfulness,
courage and obedience,
stepping out into the unknown
in the strength of your Spirit,
playing their part
in the fulfillment of your plan
to bring your prodigal people home again.
We pray that their example
might be an inspiration to us ,
that when your gentle whisper
breaks through the hustle and bustle
of this world and into our small corner,
we might be ready to listen,
and having listened, to act.
