on sale next weekend.

The parish claim  will be submitted this week.

BAPTISM: We welcome into the Christian Community

LOUISE SARAH MAHONY, Ardcronan.  Congratulations to her parents & family

POPE FRANCIS: asks as many as possible to join him in a silent hour of Adoration

this Sunday from 4-5pm. Anyone who is interested might like to come to the church

and pray silently for an hour worshipping the Eucharist.

PRAYER SERVICE: for end of school year and for all doing exams will be held in Belcarra church on Monday June 3rd at 7.30pm. All are welcome for this

short Prayer Service.

BALLA  N.S FOOTBALLERS:play in the Division 2  national school final on

Wednesday in McHale Park at 5.45pm. We wish them the best of luck. All support welcome

STATIONS: Anyone who would like to host the Station Mass between now

and the end of October are asked to contact Fr. Denis  to arrange a date.

BIG BANK HOLIDAY BINGO will be held in Balla Resource Centre on

Monday 3rd June at 9pm  €100  on all house. Valuable prizes on Raffle

BALLA NO NAME CLUB GATHERING: Balla No Name Cub are hosting a

gathering on Sunday  9th June at 2.30pm in the grounds of the The Church of

Ireland Holy Trinity Church in Balla. with an Ecumenical Service to mark our

contribution to the works in the grounds of the Holy Trinity Church followed by


THANK-YOU: to the women, men and children who did such great work in the

clean-up of the cemetery on Wednesday evening. Another tidy up will take place

on Wednesday June 12th at 7pm. Families caring for graves are asked not to dump

any rubbish in the cemetery.

EXAM STUDENTS: We wish all starting exams during the week good luck.

You will be remembered in Masses and Prayers over the next few weeks.

.ACTIVE AGE TOUR:  will take place on June 26th. We will visit Kylemore Abbey

and gardens, take a boat trip on Killary harbour and have dinner in Hotel Westport

followed by a play. member, friend and other ARA member welcome.

COMMUNITY ACTION on DEMENTIA: are now recruiting ‘Dementia Friend’

volunteers   Information evening on 6th June at 7pm in The Family Centre Castlebar.

CEMETERY MASSES: Weather permitting Mass will be  celebrated in the

four cemeteries in the parish on:  Friday 5th July  7.30pm Drum Cemetery

Sunday July 7th  11am:  Balla Cemetery, Sunday July 7th 6pm Elmhall Cemetery,

Friday July 12th 7.30pm. Guesdian Cemetery.

 If weather does not permit the Mass will be celebrated in the appropriate church.
